To support the efforts of the Jacobs Institute, click here. The Jacobs Institute of Women's Health (JIWH) is a nonprofit organization working to improve health care for women through research, dialogue, and information dissemination. Its mission is to:
Identify and study women's health care issues involving the interaction of medical and social systems
Facilitate informed dialogue and foster awareness among consumers and providers alike
Promote problem resolution, interdisciplinary coordination and information dissemination at the regional, national and international levels.
ABOUT WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES
Women's Health Issues (WHI) is the official publication of the Jacobs Institute of Women's Health, and the only journal devoted exclusively to women's health issues at the medical/social interface. It is a journal for health professionals, social scientists, policy makers, and others concerned with the complex and diverse facets of health care delivery to women. WHI publishes peer-reviewed articles as well as position papers and reports from conferences and workshops sponsored by the Jacobs Institute of Women's Health.
